Prospective employee requirements:
- A minimum of two years prior experience in childcare
- Two valid references of prior childcare work that can be verified
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must submit a high school or college diploma, or a current college transcript.
Note: candidates with an accredited Associates or Bachelors degree in early childhood education are highly preferred, as well as candidates currently pursuing college level courses in early childhood or elementary education studies
- Must pass both a criminal background and child abuse screening
- Must take CPR, First Aid and Fire Safety courses while employed
- Must submit a health care assessment from a licensed physician attesting to their fitness for childcare work
- Must be a team player and work well with children and other staff members
