Curriculum
At Appletree we use The Creative Curriculum® - The #1 Preschool Curriculum that provides individualized instruction, promotes language & literacy, nurtures mathematics skills, and more in all classrooms for Infants, Toddlers, preschool, and Pre-K.
PHLpreK Program
Appletree participates in PHLpreK, a high-quality program for children 3-4 years of age, with no household income requirements for participation. The free school meal program is included. Click Here to learn about how we created this program.
School Meal Program
Appletree provides a free nutritious meal program to students through the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
The program provides students with high-quality breakfast and lunch meals, and afternoon snacks, and it meets standards established by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.
Children with food allergies, religious dietary restrictions, or special needs will be accommodated with meal substitutions.
Infants are provided with Iron-fortified formula, cereals, and other foods.
Our directors will provide you with the school meal forms and assist you in completing them.
Before & After School Program
Appletree accepts elementary school-aged students: K to 5th grade.
Before School:
Appletree opens at 6:30 a.m., and our teachers walk the children at 7:50 a.m. to the schoolyard at John Hancock Elementary.
After School:
Our schoolroom teachers arrive at John Hancock Elementary at dismissal time. and walk the students to Appletree.
Students are provided with an afternoon snack, teacher-assisted homework help, high-speed wireless Wi-Fi, and safe supervision. Parents must pick up prior to 6:00 p.m.

Appletree accepts Child Care Works (CCW) state tuition subsidies.
Enrollment
The preschool programs accept children from the age of 3 months to 5 years old.
Appletree is open 52 weeks per year.
Tuition and copayments are due weekly. We accept personal checks, money orders, cash, Visa and MasterCard (credit or debit cards).
